Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott) is an American artist, rapper and songwriter as well as record producer. The stage name is the name of a beloved uncle, with the initials and first name (of Kid Cudi), of his main inspiration Travis Scott. Scott signed his first major-label agreement with Epic Records in 2012, as well as an agreement for publishing with Kanye West's GOOD Music. In April 2013, he signed joint recording agreements with Epic and T.I. He has signed with Epic and T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first full-length project, the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013 Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh, and followed it up with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was a hit due to the single "Antidote". His second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number one album on the Billboard 200. The next year, Scott released a collaborative album with Quavo called Huncho Jack, Jack Huncho under the group name Huncho Jack.In 2018, his third album, Astroworld, was released to acclaim from critics and also produced the first Billboard Hot 100 number one single, "Sicko Mode" (featuring Drake). Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It topped the Billboard 200. Following the release of his single "Franchise" (featuring Young Thug and M.I.A.) Scott was the first performer on The Hot 100 to have three songs hit the top spot within one year.
